SIGHT UNSEEN: EGG COLLECTIVE
sight unseen is an online magazine that gives readers a glimpse into the design, art, fashion and photography worlds. my most recent read has been about the furniture designing trio, egg collective and their behind the scenes studio tour and interview. click here to read the full article. all of egg collective’s pieces are handmade in their studio and wood shop located in brooklyn, new york. prided on creating heirloom/quality contemporary furniture, egg collective has earned their title as the “best new designer” at the international contemporary furniture fair in 2012. two years later and their ability to create and collaborate amazes me. bravo to these three talented ladies. be sure to check out their website to see all of their brilliant designs.
